MY COLLECTION of BRITISH TV SHOWS:
(Last updated on 11 April, 2023)
Below is a list of the DVDs that I have in my collection containing British television programs. The items are arranged alphabetically. (Programs that begin with “A,” “An” or “The” are arranged under the next word that follows. For example, “The Avengers” is listed under the A's not the T's.)
The first line of each entry gives the title of the series/show (in bold type) followed by the network and year on which it originally aired.
The second line gives a description of the DVD (“Complete series” or “First season,” etc.) including the number of discs and episodes in the set, followed by (in parentheses) the company that released the DVD and the year that the DVD was released.
For some DVD box sets listed below, the opposite of the above format is used: The first line of the entry refers to the title of the DVD set itself (e.g., “Jane Austen Collection”) and the company and year of the set's release (e.g., “BBC, 2010”). The second line of the entry would then list the individual titles of the TV shows that are on the set, with the original airdate next to each title. In addition, some shows have been grouped according to author; for example, Charles Dickens adaptations are located in the C's (for Charles).
All DVDs listed below are Region 1 (North America) releases unless otherwise stated.
